Its abilities as an anti-oxidant, in stabilising cell membranes, thus protecting them from damage caused by free radicals, have been well documented. These studies have also tended to indicate a beneficial effect on performance by enhancement of oxygen delivery to the lungs. Like Vitamin E, to which it has a special relationship, Selenium is of vital importance to growth, fertility and optimal muscle function. Lysine, an amino acid, is essential for optimal growth and development and in feeds of non-meat origin, it is found to be deficient. Instructions:

1 measure (15 g) supplies 735 i.u. Vit E, 0.15 mg Selenium and 683 mg Lysine. Recommended dose 3 measures (45 g) per day given in feed, (giving 0.45 mg Selenium per day). Preferably fed in last evening feed as better absorption is achieved during the resting period. If the problem persists, consult your veterinary surgeon.
